In this site you'll find lots of info on why longboats kick ass!

You'll also find tutorials on kayaking. Even though these are for long boats, the same techniques can be applied to any kayak. Read the section About The Tutorials for more info.

Longboating Gear Page Added

This page has info on how to choose gear for paddling a long boat like paddles and spray skirts. It also has an overview of different types of long boats.

Site Launch!

I've been putting off getting the site up because I didn't have the illustrations done for the tutorial. Its a major pain in my butt because I suck at drawing. I decided to put it up without them anyway. In the tutorials you'll see lots of "**Illustration goes here**" markings. Hopefully they'll be real drawings in the near future.

Stay tuned for lots of new info. I soon plan to have a gear review section covering many models of long boats. I'll also be putting up articles on longboating from different authors.
